Hi, I'm Kevin. I've spent much of my life outside Korea — years in Vietnam, years in Mongolia — and no matter where I lived, I always found myself back in the kitchen, cooking the same Korean dishes I grew up with.

Those dishes go back to my mother's kitchen, where I stood beside her as a boy, watching, helping, and talking while she cooked. That's where I really learned Korean food — not from a cookbook, but from her hands.

Over the years, friends I met abroad kept asking about the food I made. This blog is my way of finally answering them — simple, honest Korean recipes, made the way I learned them, for anyone curious enough to try.
